
THE SPECIFICATION
Micropowders abrasive superhomogeneous with the normal and
heightened requirements to isotropic of a grain. Granularities M40-M3.
1. Under the technical conditions INOX Ltd.
(3988-003-49082222-98) industrially issued polished-powders of a granularity
M40-M3 subject to dry thin clearing of coarse and fine fractions. Thus the
heightened dimensional homogeneity of grain structures polished-powders
concerning the requirements a GOST 3647-80, FEPA and others are reached.
The preliminary ovalization polished-powders (isometrization of grains) with the
subsequent thin clearing of a content of coarse and fine fractions follow-up
increases their dimensional homogeneity (reduces dimensional dispersion of a
grain in the main fraction, increases a content of the main fraction and mean
strength of grains).
The applying of polished-powders with a heightened dimensional homogeneity,
including with preliminary isometrization of grains, allows:
* To improve the quality grindings and polishings of parts, for example, in
optical productions, and also to increase an output of suitable parts at their
formation manufacturing;
* To improve the quality and durability of an abrasive tool, made of them,
(circles, head, grinding bars etc.); to increase processing capacity by an
abrasive tool at the expense of increase of an effective surface of a contact
with a work piece.

The contents of isometric grains in ovalizated structures of
polished-powders - not less than 80 %.
In view of the heightened requirements to a dimensional homogeneity of grains of
polished-powders identification of their granularities is supplemented by a word
"Super", or word "Super-oval" - for ovalizated structures of
polished-powders . The nominal size of a grain of the main fraction is adduced
with tolerance by rejections within the limits of dimensional boundaries of a
grain structure of the main fractions of polished-powders. For nominal size of a
grain the half-sum of boundary aggregate size of the main fraction is received.
